The Service

Check out a sample bulletin or listen to a sermon.

Our services are usually an hour and fifteen minutes long. We start with song, prayer, and scripture reading. Midway through we take a break to grab coffee and bring kids to their classes.

After the break, we study God's word in a sermon on a specific passage of the Bible, take the Lord's Supper, and take an offering.

We celebrate the Lord's Supper every week. Why?

Children

0-30 Months // The nursery is open the entire service. Bring your kids downstairs whenever they are ready!

30 Months – 2nd Grade // Class starts right before the sermon.  You can bring your kids downstairs at the break. *Children up to 4 years old can join the nursery during the first half of service if needed.

3rd-5th Grade // Class starts right before the sermon. Classrooms is on main level. *During the summer, this class will only meet during the first service.

See Children's Ministry for more info.

Our Elders

The Bible calls for each church to be led by elders, a group of men elected from the congregation. The elders are called to shepherd, teach, and pray for the church.

Our Deacons

The Bible also calls for each church to have deacons (1 Tim 3). While elders govern the church, deacons minister to the physical needs of the church. They care for the members of the church, organize mercy efforts, and watch over the church property.

Deacons: Kevin Chamberlin, Todd Davis, Todd Flickinger, Anthony Gust, Martin McDermott, Richard Orlemann

If you would like to get in contact with the deacons, please email the office.

What we believe

Cornerstone Presbyterian Church is a community of people who have discovered that true fulfillment in life is found in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.  It is through knowing him that our lives can have meaning and purpose. At Cornerstone, we believe that the answers to life’s questions are found in God’s Word. The Bible is our only infallible authority regarding what we are to believe and how we are to live.

The Bible teaches that men and women were created in the image of God to be in fellowship with God.  However, humanity broke that relationship by rebelling against God.

God is a loving God who desires to have fellowship with his people, but he is also just and holy, which means he cannot let sin go unpunished.  So God sent his only Son, Jesus Christ, to become a man, live a perfect life, and die on the cross to pay the penalty of sin for his people.  It is through trusting in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord that fellowship with God is restored.
