Eric Johnson, Adult Life Ministry
about eric:
Eric and Jenny Johnson served with Young Life for 25 years. During that time, they worked with thousands of teenagers and trained hundreds of volunteer leaders. In 2012 Eric was led to focus his ministry exclusively on the adult community in the Lehigh Valley. He founded a non-profit ministry called “Adult Life” to reach beyond the traditional influences of the church.
Eric believes the most effective way to teach adults is through relationships, and the mission of Adult Life is to extend God’s grace to all adults, and help them explore and mature in their faith. Eric is leading over 150 adults every week in “relationship groups” where they wrestle together with the meaning of life, relationships and faith.
Eric received his M.Div. in 1996 from Westminster Theological Seminary and is currently working on his D.Min. Eric is also a founding ruling elder at Cornerstone. The Johnsons have four children and five grandchildren.
Prayer Requests:
1. God would provide additional leaders to help us lead all our relationship groups.
2. Adults would see the greatness of Jesus in our communities of Bible study, counseling, and friendship.
3. Adults would know the second greatest privilege to knowing Jesus is our rich fellowship with one another as believers.
